It has only been an hour since I have been here but I am already extremely bored. I'm sitting in a chair facing the corner in my Dad's office staring at a blank wall while he types away on his computer.
"I'm bored" I complain
I turn around in the chair
"Good" he reply's not looking up
"When's lunch"
"It's 10:30 In the morning"
"That doesn't answer my question though"
"Probably around one"
"Argh but I'm hungry now"
"Then you should of eaten breakfast"
"Well I didn't exactly have time did i" I pointed out
"Fine, I'll get someone to bring you up some food. What do you want"
"Um, pancakes, and, some chocolate donuts and some apple juice with some hash browns" I say practically drooling from my choice of food
"Some food will be up soon for you"
"Good" I say looking forward to my food.
"And face the wall again"
"Ugh" I reply, but as bad as being bored out of mine this punishment is a lot better than it could have been.
After about 10 minutes a lady comes up with a plate of food and gives it to me without saying anything then leaves.
"Hey whats all this!" I say looking at the food placed in front of me disgustedly
"You are not having all those sugary unhealthy things for breakfast"
"So instead I'm having green mush on toast"
"It's avocado and it's good, eat it"
"It looks like baby food"
"Eat it or go hungry"
"Fine" I mumble and take a bite, it's, ok. It's not great. I've seen it all over instagram but it does't taste as good as everyone says
After I finish my food I'm bored again. My Dad took my phone off me and so I can't even go on it.
"I'm bored" he doesn't reply
"I'm bored" he's ignoring me
"I'm bored, I'm bored, I'm bored, I'm bored"
"Be quiet Amelia"
"But I'm bored"
"So be bored quietly"
"But I'm sooooo bored"
"Amelia be quiet"
"I will if you give me back my phone and the wifi password"
"No, this is your punishment"
"I'm bored"
"Amelia you are testing my patience"
"Yeah because I'm bored"
"Amelia I have important work to be doing right now I do not need you complaining every 5 seconds"
"Ok, I'll leave" I say getting up from the chair I had been sitting on putting the plate on the ground
"No Amelia sit back down" He says sternly when I reach for the door handle
"But this is stupid!"
"Then you shouldn't of been so reckless" he says still looking at his laptop, "go sit back down"
